In the mountains of Spain's sunny Andalucia, yet just 30 minutes to the Costa del Sol coast and an hour from Malaga, is a private holiday estate near Periana. Nestled among this rural idyll is Casa Rosa, a large, classically-designed house which, together with two smaller properties, Adelaida (new pool for 2017) and Rosita, enable parties of up to 18 to be accommodated in close proximity; ideal for groups of friends, family celebrations and holidaymakers looking for exclusive use.
There's a lot to see but many guests, enchanted by the estate, spend their days enjoying the outstanding Mediterranean climate in the wonderful gardens complete with swimming pool and tennis court. A holiday or short break here will delight and reward you with a lifetime of happy memories. In the mountains, yet close to the beaches, this is a peaceful setting far from the madding crowd. Here 900 verdial olive trees, some of them over 700 years old, are traditionally harvested annually contributing Casa Rosa olives towards the production of the most wonderful local olive oil - Aceite Periana.
Perfect for sun-worshippers, yet blissful for walkers, artists, photographers and nature lovers. The estate truly is holiday heaven in an ancient and beautiful corner of Spain.
“Andalucia is one of the most beautiful corners of Europe, where the excesses of modern life do not seem to have taken root and travellers are welcomed as honoured guests. Beloved by Orson Welles and Ernest Hemingway, it is the Spain of Carmen, Figaro and Flamenco. Rich with the legacies of the Moors and Romans its charm and serenity will captivate you.” Sunday Times
"I just felt compelled to write you a quick thank you for the fabulous two weeks we have spent at Casa Rosa. From the quality of the house to the terrace and the pool, through to evening watching the stars and picking almonds and figs from the trees in the garden, it was fabulous. As you know we were travelling with my disabled sister, and although there is the odd step here and there, the wheelchair generally was able to go most places, which was so important to us. "
